Located in a Natural Heritage Site in Northern Zululand, this is a stunning location for a school tour. It is in a beautiful valley, and in addition to offering numerous academic, adventure, team-building and leadership activities – it is near historical sites such as Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift. Visitors also have the opportunity to learn about Zulu culture.
Babanango Valley comprises three camps, namely Main Camp, Cottage Camp and Rock Pools. Students are accommodated in permanent canvas tents on a comfortable camping mattress that we provide, and teachers are either accommodated in our Country Lodge, or in en-suite safari-style Luxury Tents. There is electric lighting and hot water throughout.
We pride ourselves on our food, which is fully catered and made on site. All cutlery, crockery and other utensils are provided. We do our best to accommodate special dietary requirements by both students and teachers! We also offer lunch on either arrival or departure, and can make a packed lunch for the road if required.
